Hey there fellow readers! Today I'll be writing about the prompt below! Enjoy!
What makes a perfect society, in your opinion? Reflect upon some combination of the following:
Personally, I don't believe that any one society could ever be completely perfect, but if it were up to me, this is what my world would look like:
akes a perfect society, in your opinion? Reflect upon some combination of the following:- Scope: global utopia, national, regional, city-state, commune? In my opinion, a perfect global utopia would be one where all countries unite. There would be no war, selfishness, greed or theft. All countries would work together to provide each other with what is needed to sustain life. Global emissions would be non-existent and the precious resources we have would be thought of as sacred. The people would not be rich or poor. Instead they would all have enough to do whatever they choose. Race inequality would be unheard of. The word "terrorism' wouldn't be known, as it would never occur.2. Goals: what’s the purpose of your utopia? The purpose of my utopia, like I said above, would be to accomplish a perfect union of countries. I would like to accomplish medical feats, such as curing cancer. This would mean that my utopia would be intelligently advanced, and would be able to create technology that would benefit the world as a whole. My purpose, I propose, would be to create and innovate new and advanced things that would only benefit the world, not defeat.3. Population: All welcome? People selected somehow to join?I would like to invite everyone to join my world, however, there can be some major cons to doing that. Since over population is an issue of today's world, I would like to make sure that my utopia would have a some what large, but controlled population. I would have the most reliable genes in my people, so that each and every person is educated and willing to contribute to making the world great.4. Education: How and why would kids be educated? The kids in my society would be educated to their fullest ability. I say this because I see education as a vital part to a persons life. When I think about it, a child's school career determines what they do later in life, and where they go. I want to make sure that every child citizen would be successful later on, so education is of the utmost importance.5. Religion: What do people believe and practice?I think that people should be able to practice what they believe in, not what others want them to. My world would have religious freedom, because the right to practice what one believes in is only fair. I can't make someone believe what I believe, I can only let them decide for themselves what they think they should believe.6. Architecture: How would the buildings/layout of the area be?The layout of my utopia would be very clean cut. Each housing unit would be similar, yet unique in its own way. The buildings would be modern, which is striking yet simple. Homes would be anywhere from 2000 to 8000sq ft, depending on the family size. The capacity of each house would not be determined by status in the community, much like homes in today's world. Community building's layout would be determined by the purpose, and the size would be according to the public's need. All in all, the architecture would be modern, reasonable, innovative, and inspiring.
7. Politics/government
My utopia would have a democracy. I say this because I believe that it is right to leave the (most possible) power in the hands of the people. I don't believe in unfair control over people. If the people as a whole are able to choose for themselves, what they think is best for their country, then so be it. :)
8. Leisure, entertainment, the artsI think that a huge part of character is self expression. Some forms of expression might not always be good, but all in all, the ability to express who you are is extremely important to development, even in the older ages. My people will have enough leisure time where they can feel that their life has no restraints. Entertainment is a must (of course), so that will occur mostly on the weekends, which will be saved for family/friend time. Last but not least, the citizens of my utopia will be greatly involved in any art that expresses who they are as a person. Whether this is a form of painting, exercise, or any other passion, those who choose to be involved with the arts will do so as they choose.9. Science, TechnologyMuch like I mentioned earlier, the people of my "perfect world" will be incredibly intelligent. In school, science and technology will be a huge part of every child's education. This will make sure that each person, when they become an adult, will have a great understanding of how the world works, and why it is that way. As I also stated earlier, my community will be very innovative. This means that new and improved ways of doing even the smallest things will happen. Science helps one to understand the technical side of our technology, so I will make sure that each individual is educated and prepared to share their ideas with the world (if they wish to do so).10. Food, nourishment, sustainability, healthEach human will have the right to healthy food at all times. Wind mills and solar power will provide almost all electricity for earth. Junk food will be modified, so that one is eating healthy food at all times, but can still feel like they are eating their favorite snack. Each member of the society will undergo a nourishment and health exam every two months, so that my people, as a whole, can live long, happy lives.11. Conflict ResolutionSince my people will live in a democracy, there shouldn't be too many disputes based on opinion. However, if conflicts between only a few people are to arise, they will be sent on a survival trip. This group of people will only be given the bare necessities for what is needed to sustain life. Therefore, each person will have to rely on one another for survival, and will most likely get over their issue. If they result to violence, punishment will be given according to the offense. In the rare (if at all) case of murder, the individual or group will be sent out into the wilderness for life, forced to survive off of what they know. That way, they won't come in touch with society or human life again, and will have to fend for themselves.
nice job my friend
